CRUSH

Hello!

I have been thinking lately about crushing on someone and knowing that someone has a crush on you.

I have had a crush on someone for 9 years and counting. "Prince charming" isn't in my life anymore but, I still care deeply. I always want to know if "Prince charming" is doing fine.
A lot of people might wonder if "Prince charming" knows that I have a crush on him. Truthfully, I am not sure. I once told him I liked him and he gave the "I have a girlfriend and we are happy speech" and I replied saying "I haven't asked you to leave your girlfriend, I only said "I like you", duh!

My crush for Prince charming still exits but I had to get him out of my life a while ago just so I could move on and bla bla bla.

Lately, I have had
a crush on August Alsina!
Yeah, I know! Every girl has a crush on that guy but, reality check ladies, except you are in Hollywood, just keep dreaming.

I have been single for a long while now and I don't mind. I miss the long hours of Phone-calls, the giggle, the jump in your stomach when a Lover is calling your phone and all that but, I don't miss the drama.

Anyway, back to crushing,
 How does it work?
Is a crush enough reason to date someone?
Can a crush be hurtful?
If someone says I have a crush on you, what should be your response?
