Honestly, y’all! Every girl has a story! 

No Jokes people, every girl has a story! However, nobody will believe us. It doesn’t make it okay. It is devastating!

Let me ask you; if four in every six girls are victims of rape, who is raping them? The devil? I laugh in Japanese!

Men! Boys! Future Husbands,

Brothers,
Cousins, In-laws, Doctors, Boyfriends, Friends, Lawyers, Pastors, Imams, Men of God, Men of the Soil, Men of flesh; Human beings with Penises! And Penis knows no Religion!

MEN!

Whatever title you give to them, they are MEN! They have flesh and they battle flesh on daily basis! Refer to my previous post to read some more on how imperfect we humans are! Men of God or not, they are not less human than we are! They are not blameless and sinless! They can fall at any time.

“Why is she just speaking out”? Because of you! People like you! A whole nation of brainless maniacs like you!  She took her time, went through the pain alone, dealt with it in ways she knew how to or ways she thought were the “how to”. She knew you would never believe her so, she kept quiet. The pain of having something stolen from you, the pain of feeling naked, worthless and unfortunate, the shame that accompanies that one act, lived with her for years….. Nightmares, she fought; a sense of worthlessness, she fought; suicidal thoughts, she fought; “Here I am in a pool of pain over what this man has done to me but, look at my family, they have no idea, they laugh with him, hug him, pat his back, feed him and look at him like he is a saint despite this stain he has put on me”, she fought, nobody will believe me, she fought! Alone….. She fought and she survived!

Ye woman! You who wouldn’t share your story but choose to accuse a victim, shame! Shame on you! Shame! Your kind will never know the pain of their daughters because of your school of thought. Your daughters will face this evil and deal with it alone because you chose stupidity. Shame! Did I say SHAME? Okay! Because SHAME! SHAME on you and your entire existence! SHAME! Put your daughters down and ask them. Let them tell you their “nearly raped”, “narrowly escaped being rape” or their rape story. Maybe that will open your eyes.

What about you? A man you call yourself, your Brothers, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, Uncles, Family Friends, Fathers, Grand-Fathers, Colleagues, Bosses, Relatives…  Can you convincingly say that none of these people have committed such evil in their entire lives? If four of every six girls have been raped, the men who rape them are from where? Who are they? 

Hypocrites! You are throwing stones like you are all saints! You should weep your eyes out! This is a shame on humanity not just men, not just women but the entire human race! You swallow it up, conceal it and make sure you discredit the poor girl until it happens to your own Daughter; then you want justice! Indeed, the heart of man is desperately wicked! It is not your place to condemn anybody so, go and deal with the skeletons in your own closets!

To every girl that has been through something so unfair and dehumanizing, you are brave and beautiful! No! There is nothing wrong with you! It doesn’t matter if you won’t speak up because of the shame imprinted in you by that occurrence but, I want you to remember that there is nothing wrong with you! It is not your fault! Don’t carry that heavy burden of “maybe it was something I did” It was nothing you did! If it was something you did, that man would have done it in public. If rape was atonement for any kind of crime, judges will sentence people to rape but, it isn’t! The one year old child that was raped to death by a neighbor, what was her crime? The seven years old girl that was raped last week on her way back from school, what was her crime? The teenage girl that was raped by her brother and her father didn’t believe her until she killed herself then her brother confessed, what was her crime? So, beautiful woman, it was nothing you did! I pray that you receive divine strength to be whom you were created to be despite that man and/ despite those men. You didn’t die and your story cannot kill you. We ride on, we become successful and we make it despite our stories! We are Brave! 

And to all the boys/men who have been sexually abused, May God heal you! You are Brave!

And you, what is your protest about? Have you protested against your brothers, their friends and the likes? Is it because that lady you raped didn’t voice out? Is that why you’re comfortably throwing stones at someone else? Did you stand up and protest against the man that raped your sister, her friend, your cousin or your daughter? Did you protest against the Government? Did you protest against the killings of your country men? Did you protest against animals swallowing millions while humans die of hunger? Did you protest for your right to vote when you were vehemently denied that right? Did you protest over unavailable healthcare or better Education? Did you protest against Religious disputes and/ tribal disputes? The little girl that was raped last week did you organize a protest for her? 

Bloody shenanigans! You want to trend on social media right? I hope that goes well for you.

Like Apostle Paul, after he converted, he never lied about his past, he accepted his past and accepted Christ’s grace and Salvation and he never lied about it!

So, Mr. Preacher, if you’re guilty, do right for yourself, your Church and your kids. If you’re innocent, the Lord will vindicate you and He will substitute this crown of shame with a crown of glory.
