Yaaaayyyyyy!
I know I have been away for a long time….
Yeah!
I’ve been quite busy. Going to different places and
oh! That reminds me, on the 25th of April 2015 which was worlds’
Malaria day; I passed through a community using our free LLITN (Long Lasting
Insecticide Treated Nets) in many creative ways.
Okay, not that kind of creative! I mean, these nets were
being used as windows and platforms for spreading grains.
OMG! Like seriously?
Yeah! That was what I said too.
Anyway,
it doesn’t matter how long I stay away or go
into a state of oblivion as regards this blog, I never forget it.
It is like home to me.
A place I talk and I’m heard.
A place where I can breathe, I can shout, scream and
curse.
LOL!
I’m just saying; I’m never far away.
This blog and
its few readers are always on my mind.
Oh! If I haven’t replied your mail, kindly notify
me.
Back to the matter, I think I have an idea what it
means to “sell your soul”.
Keep calm!
You know how from nowhere, you seem to get something
overnight that it feels so good and you start to feel like that is all you
want.
You start to feel like you can give up on your dreams, your goals, your
growth and whatever was your initial plan to settle for “this” because “this”
feels so good that you don’t care anymore.
You start to forget what you need, what makes you
happy for this temporal thing because it feels so good.
To some people, it is Money.
To some, it is Fame.
To some, it is Power.
To others, it is a Relationship or something else.
If for any reason you fall in any of these
categories, I’m sorry to burst your bubbles but, you have sold your soul.
You are lost!
I know it sounds unbelievable but, believe me, it is
absolutely true.
Some things can absolutely make you forget who you genuinely are and make you start to feel like a robot.
But,
Don’t let anything change you.
Don’t let anybody change you.
Aim for your dreams and have a purpose.
People might not believe in you, people might mock you;
people might even throw stones at you,
DON’T GIVE UP! DON’T COMPROMISE!
Live your life!
Eat what you want, experience new cultures, learn a
new language, make new friends and expand your network.
FLY FREE!
It is so good to be back.
