Happy Mothers' Day!!!

Hi guys!

So, we know there is more than one mother's day in a year... and...

I love it!
I love the fact that we take time to celebrate mothers.

These days, we see a lot of working mothers
and fathers that are not just fathers in words but, they run around and play with them kids and feed em, cloth them and all that.
It gives me joy that everyone is trying.

I want to take a minute to go back in time though.
Back in the day, the good old days, our mothers had to quit their jobs to be "mothers"
Okay, maybe most of them not all. I mean, there were some of them that had mini businesses and they rocked it well.

I actually do understand why a good number of mothers then had to quit their day-to-day jobs to stay at home.

Lets think about it.
Those women didn't have diapers, they had tiny little napkins that they had to wash very often.
Having maids was extra work not a relieve.
They got no help from the men.
The sleepless nights, troublesome afternoons and so on.
I can't mention it all but I know there was more.

I am not saying Motherhood is easier, it isn't.
I am saying, Modern day Mothers have an advantage or, a number of advantages.

We have technology.
One can run an online business and still be a stay-home mother.
One doesn't have to do laundry every hour. Just dispose the diapers....
There are infant foods that can be prepared with room temperature water.

We are just lucky.
There are so many things we can do as mothers you know....
It is really refreshing. A breathe of fresh air!

And guys, I need to mention that the children these days are really cooperative and peaceful.
Okay, maybe most of them. They get passed around without even shedding a tear.
They are also so beautiful.
It is like they had some sort of Pre-earth meeting and discussed how beautiful they must be and how peaceful and cooperative they had to be.
I can't explain it.
It is actually fascinating.

I am impressed that women these days don't let anything hold them back.
Women are stronger now and ambitious and they remain dream-chasers even as nursing mothers.
It is amazing the way things have turned out.

I want to commend every mother out there.
Old and Young, Working class or not.
It has never been an easy task but, you wear it like a beautifully designed outfit. That gives us (future Mothers) hope and not fear.


Mothers are beautiful.
Mothers are changing the world.
Mothers are our treasures.
Their prayers keep us going, their words motivate us and their actions inspire us.

Thank God for mothers.
