I was asked about violence in relationships and my answer is always "NO way in hell is that ever acceptable". and then the next question was "What if your boyfriend was under the influence"?
BOOM!
I don't think any substance can suggest a behaviour to a person. Under the influence is a very dumb excuse;
and I will not and, cannot accept that.
Now, some ladies get to use the whole "I love him" as an excuse, but I personally don't think love is stupid.
A beast will always remain a beast, and a sheep will always be a sheep.
Love should not be hostile or abusive in any manner.
Although, some ladies think they can handle it, but for how long?
The only advice I have for ladies in this category is "RUN AWAY".
Run out of that relationship like a mad, homeless dog, and don't look back.
I believe that love is respect; so if a man cannot respect you enough to keep his fists down when he is angry, upset, or under the influence, then that man doesn't love you enough to deserve you.
There are so many things that should be considered in a relationship, and this is absolutely one of those things.
A man should never lay a finger on a lady, like NE-VER!
It just shouldn't happen.
I have no idea why people think a woman should be able to handle every little crap a man can bring into a relationship; I don't agree.
I think there are things that one can handle; man or woman, it doesn't matter. If you feel you can't handle the crap a person is bringing into a relationship, don't stress yourself.
Isn't that the idea of a partner?
Someone you can cope with, someone you can live with and bla?
Trust me, you do not want someone you cannot handle.
The most important thing is your happiness, and I don't think a violent person can make you happy.
Man or woman, boy or girl, it doesn't matter.
At the end of the day, it's your choice. Like it or not, you will be in that relationship alone with your partner, fun or not, happiness or sadness, hits or fists, you are riding solo honey.
Make the right decision.
Trust me, you do not want your heart to make your mind up.
Use your head.
